Episcopal Service Corps with Camp Mokule'ia

Aloha

Welcome to Creation Care-Hawaii with Camp Mokule’ia! Camp Mokule’ia, the Episcopal Camp and Conference Center for the Diocese of Hawaii, is considered “a sacred place for rest, recreation, and renewal.” Creation Care, the Episcopal Service Corps (ESC) program is a ministry of Camp Mokule’ia. It is a year of volunteer service focused on justice rooted in faith. ESC volunteers, or “Eskys,” live simply in intentional community and work for environmental and social justice through serving others and the land. During their year of service ESKys create and maintain a teaching garden that provides food for the camp kitchen, staff and volunteers, work on sustainable systems (i.e. greywater, recycling, composting), and lead programs with campers on team building, island ecology, and gardening.

This site is a means for friends, family, and prospective ESC volunteers to learn more about Creation Care-Hawaii and to follow the spiritual, personal, and professional journeys of current Eskies.
